i didn't receive any 'heat shields' but i did call them about wrapping the intakes and they didn't recommend it...

haven't done any comparisons, sorry...

jaybulls 06-30-2014 02:08 PM

last nite at the end of TNT's new show" "halt and catch fire" they sledge-hammered to death a primo-lookin' lime green '83 280zx for 5 bucks a pop...sigh...(it's at the very end of the show if anybody wants to stream...)

really? it should come with those black baffle walls (heat sheilds) that go around the cone to separate the intake from the engine bay.. otherwise your intake is sucking hot air... :ugh: while losing power.

huh, i sledge hammered a long tube florescent light bulb since homedepot told me they wont take it to recycle it, and to just toss it out with my garbage.

so i did exactly wat they said.

Thanks Kenchan :tiphat:

It is a long tedious project to do it right. Not to mention 4/5 days I was a one man show. This past Saturday my brother was over to help and we got a lot more done tag teaming it. I would say there is still 1/3 to go plus there is 3 stairs where I will have to make lots of cuts so that will be time consuming.
