March 24th to a heart attack. almost 2 years to the date of my mother losing her battle to ovarian cancer. He has had heart disease and a broken heart since her passing. we knew he only had a short time left with us, but it still never makes it any easier. Reason I dont race bikes anymore. Watched a very good friend get run over by another biker after going down on the race track. brain dead that day, died a week later. left 2 very young daughters at home with his wife. My wife made me choose that day, racing or them (son was 2 at the time). easy choice to make then, but I do miss it to this date.
