so i have this honda 50/50 pre-mix coolant i used to top off now and then from 8yrs ago. its it okay to use do you think? it's been stored in my garage.

i need to do a drain/fill on my 09 honda this summer and dont feel like buying another gallon. :ugh:

As far as the Type 2 coolant/anti-freeze goes, if you stored it open (un-sealed) for a very long time, there would be the possibility of some evaporation of water content.

As long as you kept these containers capped and stored in a temperature and light stable environment, they should have a pretty long shelf life after being initially opened.
