It had progressed and we finally sent him home two weeks ago, which was when we lost contact with him. He was a very dedicated worker so this was unusual not to hear from him, even while he's working from home. Fast forward 10days, and we received word late last night that he had passed away and was found in his apartment. He was a lone ranger so nobody knows when this happened, not even his parents. He was only 36 years old. I'm sure the traveling life style played a role, but it's just sad that he passed away and was alone. We can only hope that he went to bed one night and just never woke up.

It really puts things into perspective. We work like dogs, but at the end of the day none of that matters. Life is fragile and we cannot take things for granted.

im sorry bro.

yah, it's a tuff balance sometimes. for me, it was hard at the beginning to let go some of the work load to my collegues cause i just cant trust them entirely. but i forced myself to accept the trade off cause my primary purpose in life is to raise my kids. if i want, i can dedicate myself to my career again once my kids are older and off on their own.

my wife works from home and only go out to her clients during the day when the kids are at school. :) private daycare was expensive the first few years, but now we put them in the park district activities and clubs when my wife needs to work outside school hours.
