yah, especially allergy season i better swap that out.

and it's super easy to do on the fit. no screws to remove. just pinch the sides of the glove box and walla, the glovebox comes off, exposing the filter. :p

Yeah I can't blame you then. All I can emphasize is that you set their expectations before they get the car. I spoke with RR Nissan service manager on the phone and even came by before ever setting up the work to be done. I explained the horror story I read on here where someone had the headline replaced under warranty and the dealer scratched and damaged a bunch of interior panels. I basically told them to do it right or don't even bother because I won't stand for anything less than quality work. Thankfully, they lived up to my expectations. Of course, those guys are all gone now, so I would have to do the same thing to the next manager if I bring it in for any other work. Be very polite and friendly, but make sure they know you can be just as mean and nasty if they don't treat you right.

Know a good way to save $20 once a year? Forget about that in-cabin air filter and drive with the windows down  :icon17:

Yup. Minor bulge on the driver side when I installed mine. A little bit of plastic trimming and everything was back to normal

I think the Z should have OEM hood struts :twocents:

Yeah I did all that with my service advisor, he was a cool dude and I was nice but stern. But anywho, I wont' dwell on that.

I'm ready for today to be over. I'm going to see if I can pick up a right angle screwdriver somewhere and tackle the side skirts tomorrow.

since i open the hood every weekend to unplug/plug the battery manager, this is a good feature to have. but since trying 2 types and both not 100% satisfactory, i decided to just use the prop. :D

my G has aftermarket hood struts and absolutely no clearance issue. :D considering they are cheap taiwanese made NRG's, not bad... been on the car since like 2006 or something.

i like posters that post up results. you know, the community deserves to know at least how the project went if the info helped him/her.

like the op asks a question, you provide feedback, and when he/she's done with the work, they post up how things went.
