Made it home with a new transmission jack and creeper

Since it's Harbor Freight, I couldn't walk out of there without some cheapo items. So I picked up two 4" paint brushes for $1, too :icon17:

Also, they honored my 20% off coupon on the sale price. The coupon says it's not valid for floor jacks, but I noticed online they have floor jacks and transmission jacks in separate categories. They confirmed this for me when I called ahead

Already pinched myself with the new transmission jack. Nothing like injuring yourself before even starting work on the car :icon17:

Also, something really weird. When I lifted the jack up out the box, a ton of tiny ball bearings (like <1/8" diameter) came tumbling out into the box and all over my garage floor :wtf: Turns out they must be from something else. There were several holes in the box (though it was in good shape for the most part considering the contents), so I assume they fell into the box at some point. I looked all over the jack, and there is nowhere they could have come from. I also tested the jack out, and it seems to work great

You guys haven't seen pics?

I think he got rear ended by a pizza delivery girl. His last post he said he has whiplash and his Z isn't looking too good...rear end pretty messed up :(

Maybe I shouldn't be sharing(?).... Its on his FB page...sad. He's sad too. The girl that hit him was apologizing and crying so he said he couldn't even be too mad.

:icon17: no the holes are large gouges where part of the jack poked through the box. BBs are what I thought, but the caliper says they're about 0.5 mm too large.

Ball bearings

Stainless Steel

Multiple SS ball bearings in your box, maybe they procreated like Tribbles on Star Trek.
 (for both of us as I'm not very funny and make stupid jokes that are usually only funny to me, and Onze) :o

She made a Star Trek reference. In the episode "The Trouble with Tribbles", these furry creatures called Tribbles multiplied beyond belief and caused major troubles with a grain shipment. However, they were also sensitive to Klingons and were able to illuminate a Klingon plot to disrupt the shipment, thus saving the day.

... or something like that.

Ok... I get it now. It has been a long time. I have seen that episode back when I was very young. And I know the references.

Dude. What the heck is wrong with you? I use Star Trek references at least once a day -- both in my personal and professional life. They are invaluable in elucidating various situations and helping people to understand complex ideas in easy-to-understand terms.

:icon17:

I really don't think something is wrong with you, by the way.
