Computer seems to be working again. The RAM I purchased is supposed to run faster than what the motherboard defaults. But of course, when I manually set the speed and timing in the BIOS, it doesn't run stable. Whatever... I don't need the extra 33MHz :icon17:

ram speeds don't do much for performance anyways, as long as you have enough for whatever programs you mainly use that's good enough :tup:

it's when you use all your ram and it has to start swapping to disk for memory is when stuff starts getting reaaaaaaaly slow
