well i'm typically on from 8/9pm est til around 1-2:30am.

sadly i've been having some chat issues.

NAT is for some odd reason stuck on strict but only on my xbox one. 360 is open, regular internet is open, and my router says open. however on xbox one its strict and i cannot for the life of me fix it. also that makes me unable to turn my chat on or stay in chat parties. also it sometimes even blows up my game chat. game chat worked fine for 90% of my gaming last night then died at 1230 and i just called it a night out of frustration on a 20 game win streak lol

you do seem to rage a lot. lol

that game does have a lot of bugs though. i keep getting shot through walls, and when we were playing yesterday i was on top of a stack of crates, a guy kicked the bottom crate and it killed me. wtf.

then i got stuck playing against a squad of 3 gen 's two gen 5's and a gen 3. it was me and all dudes under level 20. lmao

and then there was this guy. lol

dont let gens scare you. my friend and i had a lobby with 3 gen 10 lvl 50s on the other team. my friend is a gen 8 and i am about to start my gen 5 tonight.

the game was attrition and we won 300-92.

again dont let the gen scare you. that typically just means they've played a lot......well maybe my gen should scare people but thats a different point lol :tiphat:

Did you try the trick I told you to open your NAT? If you have not made a change with your network that should open it.

i went to that routerlogin.net and went into my settings and opened my NAT. but on my xbox one still comes up as strict on the status or whatever in the settings screen. my 360 has no issues same as my laptops/phones. i'm just so losti 'm ready to just unload a clip into my router and xbox :shakes head:

Go into settings on your Xbox, network, then test multiplayer connection. When it finishes do not click continue, press and hold all 4 bumpers at once. It will then display detailed information as well as what type of NAT you have. Press A and it will tale you back to the settings screen but your NAT should now be open.

You may have to do it each time bit it should work. I have to do it often because we have two systems running at once and it flips out my router\XB1s.

ooooooh yea i forgot about that trick you told me. dammit i'm dumb. i'll do that when i get home later.

If it doesn't work write down what type of NAT you have, for example, mine is Cone Type. You can then go on Microsoft's XB1 forum and someone should be able to help you around your router to get the right ports open.

I don't think you will need to go that far though. Unless you dorked up some router settings experimenting yourself like I have in the past. If that's the case you can always foctory default the router and start over. I know basics but can't quite figure out port forwarding and DMZ host settings.

whats a NAT? lol i dont even know what any of the voice controls are for this thing. ha ha

theres a app you can download on xbox that is a speech/voice command tutorial. that'll get you everything you need.

i use mine constantly. it's such a nice feature.

also NAT type is basically a firewall/filter for incoming traffic to your internet. gaming purposes it pretty much needs to be open. if your NAT is strict if kinda puts a damper on certain situations as i am currently dealing with. i can play titanfall no issue and game chat has been operational 90% of the time. sadly party chat which is nice and keeps the game party together better is not working due to a strict NAT setting.

im not a huge fan of chat. very vulgar things tend to fall out of my mouth. ha ha
