It was yesterday, but brought my Z in for another CSC replacement, and test drove a Nismo Juke, it may replace the Z if it keeps acting like a bitch.

Good afternoon all :hello:

Ms.Pint, loved your concert pics. Looks like you had a good time.

It does, but this is the second one in less then a year, they had the RS there, but the seats are...well i'm not a big fan, the R I looked at had really nice seats, I can put heat pads in them, it does get cold here in winter. As for the extra hp I can do exhaust and get there for a few hundred, instead of about 4k difference here.

oh... that's not good. wonder wat is causing the repetitive csc failures...

yah, i too noticed they used those sport seats on the nismo-rs. im not sure if i like those seats either.... it looks kinda overkill/boy racer-ish.

but the exterior looks nice. id lower it a tad and get some wider wheels on there though. :)

kenchan 03-25-2014 04:30 PM

be funny if CNT started putting fortune cookie slogans on their exhaust boxes. :icon17:

I think just cause it's a shitty plastic part...lol

Yeah there are a few kits for it that drop it down about 1/2", the RS seats were hard to get out of with the height of the Juke, where as the R's seats were more like the Z. As for wheels and tires the 18's on it would be ok size for winter, but yeah summer would need to be bigger and a different brand, the "summer" tires that are on it look like crap! more like an all season off a Altima, not sporty at all for a Nismo.
A 19" with a 245/35-40 would be nice.

:rofl2: yah, i noticed that on the seats as well.

yep, the 18's with narrow blizzaks should do well. id use the money on real summer wheel set and tires. the stock wheels look like 18x7's or something. probably do a 18x9.5 or 18x10's. :D

too bad the nismo-rs is only available in fwd though...

Spend it on the Z instead. It'll be more rewarding

Here's a nice issue with my Chrysler rental....

I either have full heat or full cold regardless of the temperature setting. I set it to 60 and its blasts heat. I set it to 'LO' and theres no heat. And this car stickers near $40k. Thats imported from detroit for ya...

Yep 18x7, I think i'd go 19x8 for they could be rotated...there doesn't seem to be a lot of room on the inside. I'd go FWD before AWD though, just to save the weight and the power robbing extra diff. If it was RWD that would be sweet!

19x8's fine just as long as you lower it a tad more.

I had that same experience with a rented 2014 Suburban in negative 23 below weather.

Pintsize725 03-25-2014 06:19 PM

I just picked up my car. Not ******* happy about it.

There is a nick on both front wheel edges from the alignment rack. There are two miles added to my odo. When I asked if the car was road tested because of the alignment, I was told no. This was before I saw the odo.

The service manager says that "these are really small blemishes and probably not even repairable. You just have really high standards."

Possibly the tool itself since it's on the edge of the lip.

that sucks. are there like 4 nicks on each wheel?

dealers usually use these things...

No, just one nick on each wheel. They were definitely not there when I dropped it off this morning. I specifically ran my finger around the rim while my service advisor was there and felt nothing.

:shakes head:

If they would have said I am being picky AFTER I took all the time with the service advisor going over everything, I think I would be out for blood.

The service manager just kept staring at me like "what are you complaining about?"

I'm calling the dealership to ask for the owner tomorrow.

:iagree: I would tell the guy this isn't some sentra or quest minivan this is a Z and he should respect it like one of the top cars his company sells. Also if he and his staff are not willing to be "picky" (to have and show professionalism and quality workmanship) then I would advise them it is the last time I will be bringing my business to them again! :shakes head:
