Here's one of the steeper inclines we traversed. The photo doesn't show it too well, but the F150 in front of us is at the very top edge of the steepest part. And then some of Enchanted Rock itself

kenchan 03-20-2014 04:39 PM

considering how flat our cars drive i'd be schitting bricks if i was in a truck that went up a mountain side on a 45 degree angle. :eekdance:

kenchan 03-20-2014 04:40 PM

my head will over compensate and i will probably just fall on my head for no reason...

Definitely the most fun I've had on an inspection before :icon17:

JARblue 03-20-2014 04:42 PM

I typically try to drive the Acura when I do Texas Parks projects to keep the miles off the Z. Occasionally I find myself driving the Z on dirt or gravel roads just to get to a park or wildlife management area as well as through them :eekdance:

I should have taken the Z today though. I forgot how much fun 29 can be heading to Llano (mostly 70 mph through the hill country). Then once in the park, we were driving their trucks in parts of the park you can't drive a pedestrian vehicle. And I know the Z would have been safe in the parking lot. I parked the Acura in a 20 ft wide by 50 ft long parking space (boat parking) :icon17:

 I'll see when I get home. Stuck in rush hr traffic at the moment. I must say, while the Lincoln MKT is an eyesore from the outside, the interior isn't bad.

Think I'm gonna have the Z detailed at the airport while I'm in Chicago.
They did a good enough job last time.
