Perhaps, or maybe im just conscious of my expenses. With most things I buy I research things a lot before pulling the trigger. Its my means of making sure 1. I really need/want something 2. Im getting the best product for the price im willing to pay.

Some people only do this when buying large items (houses & cars). I apply it to everything.

same for me. even a $50 2.1 BT speaker i was thinking about putting in the garage i thought it through 7-8months.

then pulled the trigger on the sony BT box later on. yah, it costs more, but i dont care. i made a great choice for thinking it through  bought a few more for my other rooms too. :icon17: doesnt mean i dont have money. just means i think it through.

kenchan 03-13-2014 01:07 PM

It's funny sometimes how we rationalize expenses. I've often caught myself questioning whether I really want to spend $150 on a new pair of shoes now or wait for a sale. Then I go buy $300 in car parts without thinking twice. :icon17: :icon14:

XiP 03-13-2014 01:25 PM

i bought a pair of $90 jeans on sale for $30 and i feel bad about it because i could probably have picked up something similar at the thrift store for $3

amazon has fixed problems with my delivery so many times, they probably gave me over $100 in freebies thus far. that said, and the points i collect, $99 is still a bargain.

Agreed. I love prime. Plus I'd rather pay the additional annual fee vs having it go towards sales tax. Screw taxes...
