that's a tuff one to diagnose without seeing the car, but i think i would remove any wiring you put on the nav unit before taking the car in is a good idea.

(it might also fix your problem).

i remember a long time ago some folks were wiring their G35C's side markers to blink with the turn signals. it worked great at first, but after a while people were going in for control module damage. lol kinda reminded me of that issue.

yah, electronic clutch does sound good in a completely different non-melodic kinda way too. :D

this is another reason why i might consider getting an electronic clutch AT car next (while keeping my MT car).

V8 manual tranny GT-R that looks absolutely sick, I want one!

I had a similar problem with my HU when i first installed it. It would shut down-just totally black out. No probs w hvac though. I think we just totally reset the HU-total power down. But i don't remember how we did it.
Did you try that (probably but Im asking anyway).
