Power Line Snaps When I Drive Under It
 

I was driving my BMW 335i when I heard skidding tires then saw a flash up head. I took my camera out and cautiously approached to make sure I didnt drive over a power line. little did I know it began to detach right above me!

That was crazy!.

Not gonna lie, I think I sh*t myself a little...

After the initial shock it was pretty funny. You know minus the possible paint burns lol.

Nah, I saw the initial explosion when the guy first took out the power poll and put them on to makes sure I didnt run into anything on my way there since there was no traffic in front of me.

That's usually when I get random electrical "discharges" into my vehicles.

well when I got close enough I saw there was nothing in the road so I was about to turn when the line finally snapped above me. Yea, stupid move I guess but it was fun!

just an update:
Burn marks on the car... so it's going into the shop to possibly get repainted :(

Now... If you rode a motorcycle... Those would be on your back...

So $5600.00 later in damages: My car is at BMW getting a new paint job! I went with Hyper Yellow!!!!!

No I forgot to take pics (think of super small brown dots randomly scattered across the car)

They guy that hit the pole. He has some bunk *** insurance called: Zurich Insurance


Took a bit of bugging and nagging but they are covering everything. From my rental to give me a like car (I have the challenger but I think im gonna trade it in for just a Mercedes) to a complete paint job and replacement of any trim/weather strip.


Yea Im pretty stoked, I thought about taking the pay out... But having little brown dots on my car would've bugged me like crazy.

new paint job means go get a clear bra installed...

I was thinking that. Not sure if I care about this car enough to spend the money though...

i wish i had known about the the bra..... my front end is horrible...... kinda cry everytime i wash it
