so first thing im going to do this weekend after cleaning up the work bench is to make small shelves to put my matchbox cars that are now in those plastic display cases. :D

should look real nice in the garage, and easy to clean too.

i might need to get a new water hose reel this summer. been using the same one for the last 8yrs and the hose guide thingie up front is showing a lot of wear.

any one have an eletronic winder reel one? be cool if i dont have to crank that sob in tight space... :ugh:

this is the one i have, the thing under the cars with hose nozzle sticking out.

i have power like 2ft away from the reel, so would be nice if i could get a motorized one that i can flick a switch and wind the hose. :p

not sure wat we're doing for supper tonight. guess i will pitch in by helping the wife. my older kid can help too. :D

we got him a smaller kitchen knife to use. his chopping skills still needs work, but he's getting there. :icon17:

so he was bragging to his friends in school that he cooked dinner. (and he really did start to finish with wife's supervision).
then the girls apparently told him only girls are suppose to do that. :ugh:

so i was like oh really, so who the hell is programming these stereotypes? and then telling a woman to go bake a cake is offensive? :icon08: wtf.

i think cooking is great for boys and girls to do.

Some friends got my wife a chain mail glove one Christmas as a gag gift. Best present ever :rofl2: I wouldn't let her use anything but a butter knife before that. I keep my knives ridiculously sharp. It's a way to ensure that if you aren't using them properly, you will be punished :stirthepot:

JARblue 02-14-2014 03:27 PM

I do pretty much all the cooking in our house. There are a few things that my wife specializes in, and in those cases, I am happy to step out of the kitchen and let her make some :yum:

kenchan 02-14-2014 03:27 PM

so i told my kid to ask the girl wat she can cook. :icon17:
she told my kid 'she can't.' LOL hahaha!

teach wisely. :icon08:
