so in other news...

you guys know those cheep tire plugs you can buy at autoparts stores? been using them for a while, but never done the repair in like 10F weather. :D i did the repair before xmas on my Fit since i had a flat from some scrap metal on my rear tire. it's been holding up real well. :p

something like this... it's an easy 1-2-3 and done! i didnt even use the rubber cement.

yah, as a test, a couple of my local buddies even auto-x'ed with them a while back, one even took it to the road course since he got a flat on the way and no place to repair his tire. no issue. :icon17:

i never knew how well it would work in sub-freezing temps, but no problem it seems like. :p

plugging it from the inside is better, but for small holes, i think these work great. small holes as in like screws and nails, no more than 3-4mm in diameter.
