The sun finally came out in Houston after almost a week's absence. Spirits picked up immediately around here. :happydance:

After spending yesterday on the couch recovering from a third periodontic procedure (it's a pain getting old), I'm back in the office for another round of aggravation. :ughdance:

Not sure about Z action this weekend, but next weekend I'm heading up to Austin with some Houston buddies to meet Mr. JAR for breakfast at Bacon (my new favorite breakfast restaurant), a cruise with the Austin Z CLub, and then attend the Austin Bacon and Beer Festival. Afterwards, we'll cruise back to Houston.

Miss Pint will be sorely missed, by we'll toast here with a few rounds while she basks in the sun at South Padre beach.

Time to get back to work.

the last time i made minimum wage, i was in high school saving up to buy presents for my gf, music gear, and some cash for clothes and hanging out. :tup:

it was only a LEARNING EXPERIENCE while making cash... and nothing more. :ugh2:

i was paid like $2.50-3/hr. :icon17: :ugh:

in college i had my own little gig going where i would be contracted by local stores to program their barcode systems. you know, weekly sales and wat not.

also did contracted rework stuff as well.

did $10/hr and i was the 'owner' of the company. :icon17: lol

I don't think I ever had a job at minimum wage pay. I mowed lawns as a kid, and definitely made more than $5 an hour or whatever it was back then.

I worked for Dell in high school and was paid around $8/hr I think. It was at that time that I learned I don't like working for other people. Thankfully, I was on my own less than 10 years later :tup:

:yum: :tup: my breakfast is usually waffles (or home made bread rolls), egg, banana, yogurt, coffee. :D

you see, successful people are like that. we go on our own to find creative ways to make more money than our buddies. lol

and if they become an arse, just stick it to them you're making more quarters while they're making pennies. :rofl2:
