I'm so tired. Driving in this crap weather, working 8 hours then driving back in worse weather is tiring. And they had the nerve to ask me to stay an extra hour to make sure everything runs smoothly on afternoon shift. I laughed. Got a work out in when I got home, now waiting for the snow plow to go down our street so I can clear the driveway. Maybe I should go clear the driveway anyways, the plow is sure to clear the street 5 minutes after I put everything back in the shed. :ugh2:

someone needs to invent heated driveways or something similar... no more snow shoveling! :stirthepot:

They do have heated mats for walkways. I'm sure I could wire enough of them up to cover my driveway. I would have to sell my Z to fund the project though. :ugh2:

Assuming you are in an area that receives snow, I hope you have a safe drive home. But if you live somewhere that doesn't get snow, um, well... you can suck rocks.

Ahhh.... the Eastern living souls.....a little snow, a little cold..... the world ends!!

We here in the west have been putting up with this since the end of September.

Ooo...was that my outside voice?

jlo370z 02-05-2014 05:13 PM

Well blow me down a frozen river on a empty case of shlitz cardboard, but we got 15cm of snow here in chicago area and it took 2-1/2 hours for a drive that normally takes 45 minutes.

Needless to say I did not make my lunch with the client

The snowplow finally drove down our street. I cleaned up my driveway and two more driveways across the street. Older people live in both houses, I figured they would appreciate it.

Time for coffee and Zucchini bread :yum:
