Then again, when I am presented with the job of decorating the house for xmas the conversation and thoughts go a bit like this…

I don't decorate for holidays.

My welcome mat also says "leave".

That's what I thought. Lights != Christmas spirit.

But I've asked a couple of people and regardless of whatever else I'm doing (gift exchanges, driving to look at xmas lights, taking some people to Glendale Glitters (xmas light show)) I'm still a grinch? :rolleyes:

Tell them some horrible story about losing a family member in a tragic Christmas light related electrocution as a young child and them glare at them like they're the *******.

Well, I have enough Christmas spirit, but back when I was a kid we had decorations, etc. and someone came by and stole them, then destroyed them.

Since then, I've never wanted decorations.

yah, that's like the jack-o-lanterns i made long time ago. someone smashed it the night i put them out in the yard for display. :shakes head:

ever since then, i dont do halloween decoration outside.

Yeah, I guess it scarred me as a child.

I tell people this and they're unphased.

yah, im glad it was before i had kids cause they would've cried if they saw the jack-o-lanters all smashed up.

of course i would've probably just made a joke about some taffyapple sitting on them or something not to scare the kids. :D

Lol, what do you want me to do? It may not be socially acceptable in CA to do that, but kiss my áss, I plant my feet. And this was BEFORE my house got burglarized. Now I ALWAYS answer the door with my trusty S&W .357 behind it
