Happy Thanksgiving Thread!!!!

Hello everyone. All set for next week? Happy Thanksgiving.

I am most thankful for my wife who tolerated me throughout these blissful 25 yr marriage......and who surprisingly supported my purchase of the best toy I could ever have. My wonderful PW Z. I love you Vic!

.....and oh yes, to everyone out there, don't step on people next week when you go nuts shopping for deals. I'm in retail and I have seen it all......well almost.

What are you most thankful for?

Then again I say Merry Christmas year round... And I don't even celebrate Christmas...

So carry on, lol

I've got my Jan/Feb 2014 schedule set up and booked. Nature of the beast I gues.

I am most thankful for my family. Since we noved to Vegas I cook Thanksgiving Dinner (wife has to work). First year we were here it was just my wife and I. Every year a few more people seem to show up and this year I will be hosting 9 family members. I really enjoy cooking the feast and having the family time, for this I am truely blessed.

Oh and I skip shopping on black Friday. In our family we do not exchange gifts at Christmas except for the kids. Having only 3 grand kids makes my shopping easy.

Hi everyone, I'm visiting the US from Australia, and haven't had the chance to celebrate Thanksgiving before.

We will be in Los Angeles on Thanksgiving. Does anyone have any recommendations of things to do and where we could have a traditional dinner?

Never been to LA, but it probably shouldn't be hard at all to find a restaurant or diner that is serving a traditional Thanksgiving style dinner. Just google it beforehand, I'm sure plenty of restaurants that offer that will turn up.

Edit: Oh yeah and Happy Thanksgiving y'all, even though its early. I'm thankful for my family and friends and all the other generic things.

I am incredibly thankful for my wife wanting to buy a 370Z MT and then getting a new job one year after purchase with a commute that is not conducive to a manual transmission.

Friends, family, and heath are all good, too

Thankful for the path i chose 5 years ago that led me to the job i have today. This job allows me to support my family and replaces my husbands lost income when the DHL fiasco hit Wilmington and he lost his job. Our slight role reversal works well for us.
I am also thankful for our two well adjusted happy children.

Welcome to America!
I'd suggest using OpenTable.com to find your place, read reviews and then jump to yelp as a back up or to double check. It is such a great Holiday!

I'm thankful for fastfood being open on Thanksgiving Day so I don't have to eat a bland turkey and ham. I won't not eat it, but it's just blah anymore and I'm not going to cook one.

And for Black Friday shopping, best part of the year. Hopefully we get to see some more fights this year. :icon17:
