When you're in Afghanistan and there is only one internet provider, they kinda have you by the short and curlies.

It isn't technically dial-up, but it's satellite provided internet which is 128kbps and delayed 500ms, which amounts to the same thing.

Oh yea! And it doesn't work 40% of the time because they have silly Nigerians running the whole operation.
