You know, if your location existed...

kenchan 12-18-2013 09:57 AM

and usps can't figure out where the hell my other package went.

i wish there was a way to tell these ebay stores to default to a FedEX/UPS account number to use or something instead of these 'free shipping to somewhere on earth, you might get it, you might not, you might get it damaged.... or not'

Question for you fog light owners: Is the wiring harness with the switch required if I just want it to blink while braking?

LunaZ 12-18-2013 11:32 AM

Still haven't folded my laundry in case you were wondering.

does your state allow blinking brake light?

No you just need to make a wire connection with blinking wire on fog to brake light wire in the trunk. Also need to ground it IIRC

:iagree: good question.

You might also piss a lot if people off in traffic with a bright blinking light. Going on and off everytime you move. :ugh2:

Why would you want to defeat the purpose of having a rear fog light?
Why not add a flasher relay to the brake light on the hatch and keep the functionality of the fog light.
I you want your car to look like an F1 car, then make it blink constantly while you have it turned on.

I wear a blinking LED armband when I run before sunrise or after sunset.
I swear it hypnotizes drivers and causes target fixation.

Hmmm. This was about all I could find at the moment.

"Sec. 547.328. FOG LAMPS PERMITTED. (a) A motor vehicle may be equipped with not more than two fog lamps.

(b) A fog lamp shall be:

(1) mounted on the front of the vehicle at a height from 12 to 30 inches; and

(2) aimed so that no part of the high-intensity portion of the beam from a lamp mounted to the left of center on a vehicle projects a beam of light at a distance of 25 feet that is higher than four inches below the level of the center of the lamp.

(c) Lighted fog lamps may be used with lower headlamp beams as specified by Section 547.333."
