Is this something you have heard or actually know???

My Berk cat-back increased my whp by 17.

I've heard the Berk, a buddy in the Mid A has it, he actually wants to trade it to someone with an Ark, he told me, (his worlds verbatim).. "Its not loud enough for me, I wish I would of bought the Ark..dee, I'll trade you"

I replied, "hell nawwww!"

won't suggest Invidia, a tech told me something not good about the mounting or how the pipes connect together.

about that price range, I will suggest Ark, like mine very much, style wise and performance wise.

Of course FI is a very nice CBE, more expensive though, so it is down to your budget. :icon17:

Ah, so your "informed" opinion is merely anecdotal, based on a single person's opinion/observation. I thought there may have been some science involved; I guess I was wrong. If you want loud, perform a muffler delete.

The Berk has a very sweet sound at high RPM's, delivers improved throttle response and increased torque/hp. In normal driving it does not draw attention to me. I am comfortable enough about myself that I do not need a loud exhaust to proclaim to the world my cool-ness. Function should almost always trump form.

Isamu 11-13-2013 02:24 PM

loudest exhaust hands down, GReddy's Single exhaust! which I am on the hunt for

:bowrofl:

Very true, I agree with you 100%, I've heard the Berk, personally, and its not my taste, I like an aggressive sounding exhaust and Ark does that for me.. It sounds so nice, you constantly want to hit the gas just to hear the growl of the exhaust.

he installed one before and he said the pipes are kinda connected by clips instead of bolts..

and that's what makes him :ugh2:

it was couple years ago..

maybe the current version is different

hmm not sure what he meant. mine's bolted on. purchased it two years ago. maybe he got mixed up.

speaking of apple pies though, the wife and i made one last weekend. made it completely from scratch. and in my humble opinion, it was the best apple pie i've ever had the pleasure to eat. :yum:
