Hows it going dood?

JARblue 10-04-2013 07:35 PM

I blew through the yard work in no time with my new Honda mower getting its second workout and first time with the bag attachment

Luckily, I don't need the bag because it was pretty full after my small backyard, and it was full after only 3/4 of my front yard. I prefer to mulch, and this mower has two blades for finer clippings.

It's fast as hell, too. I was running behind it like a madman at full speed for a few minutes. I'm sure I looked like a retard out in my front yard :rofl2:

I bought a leaf bagging rig for the riding lawn mower a few years ago (6 to be exact), I busted it out today and the fookin wheels wont turn when on the grass. I was like NP I will pull it apart and clear the crap off the axles. Yeah that thing was ment to be a throw away! There was no way to take it apart without destroying the thing!

We are about due to buy another half a cow for the year so I was cleaning out the freezer to make room. I made 2 AMAZING ribeyes and one sirloin. Like 4 pounds of meat for 4 people :yum:

I also took care of some crappy undercover on my wife's Acura that broke. I don't see why I should have to pay the $50 for the part on a leased vehicle. You can see the two tabs on the left side of the piece just broke. They said that something must have hit it, but after crawling under the car, I don't see how that's possible. It is well protected with no exposed front or edges, and the design seems like anything bouncing under the car would just skim off the bottom of the cover :ugh2:

The lady tech tried to be nice by offering me free install when the part came in, but since they don't do scheduled appointments, it would just be more hassle for them to do the 5 min install. My wife would have to drive the manual Z in lots of traffic during her commute if we trade cars during the week. Saturdays are super busy at the dealership, which I already know because I was there at 8 am sharp (when they open) and had to wait 45 min for them to look at the car for a couple of minutes and tell me which part needed to be ordered. It was 3 bolts and 3 clips (might be 4 - I'm going to check with the dealership by phone tomorrow), and it took me 5 minutes to jack up the car, 5 minutes to remove and replace cover, and 5 minutes to find the camera to take the photo :icon17:

I also got this neat shot of a garden spider and a dragonfly it caught in its web. The spider is significantly larger than a quarter. The dragonfly was gone in less than 24 hours.

Thank you sir :tiphat: It isn't super expensive or anything, but it's got 3.5 ton capability, very low profile for not being a racing jack, and lifts over 21" high. It's excellent for my purposes, and even gets to the Z's front garage jack point by just driving one wheel up on a 2x6 I keep around for that exact purpose. I have a hockey puck that I cut a slit in and use for jacking up the side rails of a car.

Yeah thats the reaction I get when presenting the idea to the people I live with :icon17: When I was a teenager I had a rat snake. It would escape a couple times a year and one time my dad was reloading some ammo and he opened a ammo can and proceeded to scream like a little girl and then a big thump and all quiet...I knew my pet had died.

Got a link to some of your ideas/visions? I am not a rich person but would give $100 to the cause.
