Thats what I have, and I fricken looooooove it!

 nice. well, i still have my MBP and it's been doing real well. right now on the fence if i need to swap the 2nd HD in there (7200rpm) with a ssd or not for my virtual piano software im running. huge amount of sample data im moving with each keystroke while i play, but the computer seems to be handling it pretty well. i rarely get any drop outs.

once the note is played, the sample is in the ram so it wouldnt matter 7200rpm or ssd. if i had ssd, im thinking i would have no drop outs though, even while the fresh sample data is being called out to the ram.

I agree with that assessment, kenman. I'm interested to know the outcome if you decide to give it a try.
