My choice is Xbox One for online gaming. The pole thread in my signature is full of info on them both. PS4 has more preorders but I think after a year they will have similar sales. I have 9 total of the two preordered. Keeping two XB1s and one PS4.

I also have stock invested into sony, as a seasonal stock, due to the PS4 coming out near next month, which is near Christmas, so there will be a lot purchased hopefully which would send the stock upwards. :) but not holding my breath debating on purchasing some Microsoft stock before the X Box 1 releases so I could have both but im not sure if i'll have enough money by that time to do that |
It really does come down to preference with these two systems. If you have not checked out that thread it is worth a read.
Unfortunately a game console is no iPhone so I'm not sure the stock will make a huge jump because of the launch. Who knows though. Have you researched past trends during launch weeks? I have never really thought about it until now. When I get home I may do some research myself! |

You really need to read my thread. PS4 is launching before XB1 last I read (a night or two ago). It also is not free to play online anymore.

November release "...Microsoft is famous for locking many of its Xbox Live features (Sky Go etc) behind the paywall of its Xbox Live Gold service, while Sony largely allows additional features to run for free. This is set to continue with the PS4, after Sony confirmed that features such as party chat, play free-to-play games like Planetside 2, or online apps like Netflix will all be free to access even if you don't have a PlayStation Plus subscription.xxxxx...." PS4 release date, news and features | News | TechRadar http://www.techradar.com/us/news/gam...rumours-937167 |
Being at work I cannot access Gaming sites with more credibility but that statement by techradar is vague and misleading.
PS Plus Requirement Some games may be free to sample online or play for free for a month. But to access all features of a game will not be free. What was the link to the Xbox page for? It is slated for Nov. 22, PS4 the 15th. Edit: But hey that may make your stock purchase even better they are going to make a killing off of subscriptions that are currently not mandatory. What does suck is that PS3 users will continue to play for free. Not very nice for the new system owners. |
