All the hard work is finally done. Time for a quick shower, a couple of beers, and 5 hours of sleep. Then off to Z-Fest! :woot:

me to however my hard work was not as intense as yours I didn't have as much time for prepping the Z..... I wanted to start thursday night or friday am but couldn't fit it in :shakes head:

only time to

- interior clean
- leather cleaned & conditioned
- quick once over on all the nooks and crannies on the interior

- engine bay degreased and cleaned
- blasted engine with air
- touch up with detail spray
- close hood and forget about it

- exterior foam sudz soak
- high pressure rinse
- 2 bucket hand wash

then brought it into the garage to

- clay bar
- 2 coats chemical guys lava
- VRT dressing to tires and trim

NEXT -> Crack open one of the left over beers in the fridge.....:tup:

I wish they never moved the Z fest location...... :shakes head:

old location would have been 30 mins from my house (30-40km) would not get Z very dirty on that drive.


new location is 170km away and a lot of highway so I know I will need a little kenchan QD when I get there :ugh2:

I have a good sized detailing arsenal in the hatch. 2.5 hour drive, if traffic is good, and part of it is under construction. :crying:

If you need anything let me know. I'll have lots you can borrow.

I will be bringing a few things to do a couple touch ups as well......

apparently the wife is going to see if she is up for coming in when I get up in the am :ugh2: could be good or bad........2 hour drive with pregnant lady :confused::icon14::shakes head: why did I say "yes honey I would love if you want to come"?????? I know it is the right thing to say/do but when I know she is preg and not going to be comfy let alone interested (she has demonstrated this at past Zfests and the drive was more local and she was not preg) shoot me now ....... lol JK :icon17:
