Boom, emergency tracheotomy on the restaurant floor and a fun bout of anaphylactic shock I may or may not live through.

That is amazing you had a place like that! I love Thai food but around here I wouldn't trust any of the places to be that safe. When I was managing a Schlotzky's Deli in phx. A guy came in and expressed how deathly allergic to onions he was, I put in a ticket that had 15 NO ONIONS and verbally called out to change gloves, and wipe the prep/finnish area down before making the sammich... I was in shock when the sammich had, you guessed it ONIONS on it and the guy had to bring it back to me. I personally scrubbed the entire line down while he watched and I made the order myself. I felt so defeated lol.

Yeah, it really bothers me when they get the order wrong. I'm not asking because I don't like it. I'm asking because it will ******* kill me.

And don't get me started on the "this product made on the same equipment as peanuts" disclaimer. If you put it on everything, it loses all meaning.

IDK man, its one of those times where I face palmed before that was a thing and I just couldn't mumble out a convincing apology, I still don't have an excuse for it :icon17:. It really sucked ***, no lie there. It was one of those times where the saying "...are you going to ask if you want fries with that..." for the rest of your life was very relevant lol.

I used to manage a Popeye's at one point in my life. I can vouch for that level of stupidity being the norm. I mean, think about it this way. You know how stupid the average person is? Half of the population is dumber than that.

There is some truth to my statement above :roflpuke2: If I thought my fat a$$ could run fast enough to the Z, I might just rob people of their biscuits as they came out of the store lol

Trade secret- the biscuits by themselves are nothing special. It's the repeated bastings of butter (flavor) and salt. And I was never sure exactly what kind of meat was in the dirty rice. It was shipped in pouches marked "Cajun Meat".

I know Cajuns. I've eaten their food. It's always fantastic but you do not, ever, ask what kind of meat it is. :rofl2:

Who decided to deep fry a taco? Really? And why are they so good at 2:30 in the morning after the bar, and inedible any other time?

When I was working in a machine shop we had a lot of Vietnamese employees. They would bring in all kinds of food almost every night and they would laugh when we ate certain things... They would say if it was dog or cat but on some items they wouldnt tell us what the meat was, we just kinda shrugged it off after a while and said it tasted good so who cares :icon17:
