exhausts sound so different from manufacturer to manufacturer, there is definitely a risk there when buying. :D

nice.

i donno, can you paint it for much less using red dupicolor engine enamel spraypaint? :)

i painted the black portion using their matte black paint 3-4yrs ago cause the dinoc died when i wrapped the engine cover and left adhesive stains embeded into the plastic. :ugh: turned out factory finish, and the paint is holding up very well.

Since my Z is silver, i just left the cover that silver color. :D

ahhhh... dude you know, hell I could always give it a shot, I mean, if I were to buy another one, I would have an extra, thats actually a good idea. What kind of paint am I looking for, any way you can send me a weblink?

Dupli-Color :: Engine Paint with Ceramic

your local autoparts store (walmart too ) should have these. just look for 'engine enamel' 'high heat' type paint. :D

kenchan 08-22-2013 02:58 PM

btw, since that cover is already painted silver, all you need to do is clean it off with rubbing alcohol, mask away, maybe use a MF towel or tack towel to remove any dust and spray away. :)
