I am in a precarious situation. One of my fellow consultants filled in for me here at a client two months ago (I was double-booked).

Anyway, she had them set up a few key processes in the forecasting/planning/scheduling areas that are giving them very bad results. I spent yesterday scratching my head as we went through the system parameters and settings -- wondering what she was thinking when she taught them this. I reached the conclusion that she was being lazy orr just does not understand the interwoven processes very well.

The tough spot is me trying not to through her under the bus -- then the client loses confidence in my firm because they sent a supposed senior-level person to them who is a little on the clue-less side.

ahhh bro. That is a tough spot, but I do know this, you are definitely the person to handle this awkward situation.

It'll work out -- we fixed a huge amount of stuff yesterday and will do more today. I just have to watch how I phrase things -- I am not always that good at it.

Don't forget -- when your only tool is a hammer, everything starts looking like a nail.

:excited: :woot: have a great time GE and MRS. !!!

 :hello: :woot: for four day weekends. Except my husband has to work three of the four days. that's crap. sigh.

Since I travel all the time, I'm just looking at something cheap and reliable. Ideally I want a midsize as well. We only have a two car garage right now so it'd be outside all the time too. Despite saying i wouldn't get another Nissan, I'm currently looking at the 01 Maximas or the I30t. I'm avoiding the VQ35 because they have too many issues in early-mid 2000s. The VQ30 seems pretty stout though.

I've also looked at the 02-03 Acura TL Type S and V6 accords (same years) but they suffer from the notorious Honda trans failures. I would consider a v6 Camry as well, but they're all VERY high mileage.

Any other suggestions?

Oh yeah, I love 4 day weekends, especially when I don't have to use any vacation days. Friday and Monday are company holidays :D

kenchan 08-27-2013 09:52 AM

pretty cool to me! i have a lot of piloti keychains so i use that on my Z's fob.. :p
