NewEgg Shoppers?

Anybody browse NewEgg lately? I thought I was going nuts. I'll look at a list of items with a certain price and/or rebates, but the price (and price after rebate) is higher if I view the item or add it to cart. :shakes head:

I beleive "fine print" is at play here...

Still confused. I'll see an item for $99. When I view it, the price is $119. Add it to cart and it's $99.

Then I looked up a GTX 670 FTW, and the price viewed and added to cart was still much higher before and after rebate. O_o

Might be a glitch in the site programming -- so long as it shows the right value in your cart, I wouldn't sweat it.

Is this happening to all products for you? I cannot replicate the problem, and I just purchased a new SSD. The price was the same on the product page, shopping cart, and final invoice.

Yea, the price of every product I click to view shows up differently.

Earlier, the GTX 670 FTW price was hiked after viewing it and adding it to the shopping cart. It looks normal now.

Below is an example of what I'm still seeing, but it seems like the price is showing up correctly most of the time now when adding it to the cart.

[EDIT] SSD prices are consistent. Here's another one: Acer HN274BBmiid 27" monitor for $549.99 shows up as $599.99 (list $649.99) when I click on it, but it's $549.99 when added to cart.

Hrmm... I looked at several EVGA GTX 670 FTW video cards as well as that same Acer monitor with no issues. I know it probably won't help, but have you tried rebooting? That's always my first troubleshooting step. For the next step I might try to clear the browser cache and cookies. I can't think of anything else that would be obvious. If neither of those fixes it, I would inform Newegg about the problem to determine if it's on their end.

I looked up the items you referenced and they displayed correctly here on both pages. Try clearing your cookies or try Chrome instead of Firefox, must be some strange script bug on the page.

Yea, it seems to have fixed itself. I thought I was going nuts.
