I'm installing some pot lights for a contractor buddy today. One of the rooms is finished and needs two pot lights with a switch. He also mentions that he doesn't want any holes made for running wire. :facepalm: He also tells me that he could do the complete job in 5 hours and should be easy for me. :icon14:

My grandfather is doing ok, but my grandmother is now in a special Alzheimer's facility. We're going to visit her before her lunch (visits aren't long), and then we'll do lunch with Grandpa back at his senior living facility.

Good luck getting through that top plate without cutting some access holes in the unlikely event you need to run wire from the ceiling down the wall. You know, that rare circumstance where you want a light switch or something :icon14:
