If anyone here is interested, I will give it to you for free but you pay shipping. Continental US will probably cost ~$250

:tup:sit it by the curb with a sign that says "IT WORKS!!! FREE!"
It will disappear within minutes. Or maybe overnight. Somebody is sure to snatch it:tup:

lol I'm looking at it right now (on my desk next to my monitor). It was my buddy's gun and his bullets. Plus for the $5K recovery cost that thing deserved to be destroyed  The TV still works great, and I'd love to give it away to someone I know that will actually use it. I'll just put it on Craigslist for free if I have to...

Actually, in my experience, it'll sit out there for days with a sign that says FREE. But as soon as you put a sign up that says $10 someone will steal it :shakes head:

I've got an old 19" CRT computer monitor that I was going to give away, too. That would be a much better candidate. Have you shot a tube TV before? I can't imagine it's anything more than the tube busting on the first shot.

:ugh2:my brother brought a couple melons out to shoot with the AR15 .223 (?) and they didn't explode. Kind of disappointed. :shakes head:

 We usually bring the shotgun for fruit :icon17:

There is some language in here, because we were stupid to be that close to it. A piece of shrapnel flew over my shoulder and hit a car I was standing next to. :eekdance:

No one got hurt, so I can say it was a blast, but def. wouldn't be that close to 2.5lbs of tannerite again.

We literally found only three pieces of twisted metal in a 50-60yd radius of the blast zone. :icon17:

I know enough about explosives and I've watched enough Mythbusters to know that even if you know what you're doing you can't be too careful with them. That's like the stupid **** we used to do :shakes head: :icon17:

Haha, well, we had 1.5lbs and blew up a scanner... no problem. It did as it was supposed to and went straight up.

However, I think because we put the tannerite inside the computer and sealed it (just closed it like normal) rather than putting it on top of the tannerite we nearly killed ourselves.

Lessons learned. :icon17:
