Good morning!

100% chance of rain today. I was hoping for a nice ride in the Z today but I'm not taking her out in this. :(

:hello:

I was actually kind of hoping it would rain more this morning. I could use a good pre-rinse before washing the car :icon17:

Woke up to rain here in Houston, so I'm blowing off my track day. :ugh2: I just don't feel like dodging rain storms and playing on damp track with a bunch of people I don't know. Several Houston Z owners are there, and I may pass by for moral support later if the rain passes.

At least I got my ducts installed yesterday. I can't wait to finish the job.

Have a great trip ms. bc! mrs gurney and I did an Alaskan cruise a few year back. My favorite part of the trip was the three days on the train in the mountains. Enjoy.

Have a great weekend guys. F1 tomorrow! :tiphat:

Sorry to hear about the track day. You got that nasty storm we had roll through at midnight last night. Very loud and lots of rain. We need the rain, so I'm not complaining. Enjoy your suddenly free Saturday :tiphat:

So I went out to the garage a few hours ago to work on interior detailing only to find that one of my two overhead garage fluorescent lights wasn't working properly (one bulb was dark but still barely on, and the other was very dim).

There is no ground that I can find :icon14: the connections seem to be in good order and two new bulbs performed identically (nearly off and very dim). Last option is the ballast :ugh2: They are 6' fixtures with two lamps each, and the damn lamps are $75 apiece  I have a nearly full case (10), so I definitely want to fix the light before I consider replacing it. And thanks to Google, I found replacement parts for both fixtures for ~$60. I'll replace the ballast and the four lampholders on the one that's failing and have the same spare parts for the other fixture should it start to go
