Having read all of the GoT books, the show is slow for me. However, it is an excellent show despite that. Haven't watched the episode from Sunday, yet, but I know pretty much everything that happens.

 well, you know what to que up next...

I like the characters.. even if you wanna punch a few of them lol

What are the opinions on running a different tire on the front end than the back end?

Footloose301 06-04-2013 09:38 AM

Like slicks? :D

Nope, I'm a shitty driver as it is. I have good PSS on the rears but my fronts need to be replaced. Money is tight since the spouse hasn't gotten a paycheck from his new job.

Its not ideal. That being said, it's not uncommon, and many people don't have an issue.

it's not recommended since you dd the car in the rain and rain traction will be very different between different tread patterns & compound, especially on a colder day... if you drive only dry, then you can do it usually with not much side effects as long as one breaks in the tires and is only driven casually.

having sticky tires in the rear is fine. i think in your case it's do-able if money is tight. just dont get super crappy tires and try to take corners too fast. you will most likely understeer and plow into a tree or light post or mailbox or dumbarse cyclist  or even a prius  :ugh2:

I'm having second thoughts about this GTM MHI TT kit now. I have just enough money to use as a down payment and then money will be extremely tight while paying it off for the next year. It's such a hard deal to pass up though.

I also want another motorcycle since I sold mine a year ago.

My long term (2-3 year goal) is to trade in or sell the Z to fund a used 2012+ GTR, so I might not want to turbo the Z....

Ugh

Food and alcohol kills me the most.

Everyday I spend $8-12 on lunch.

Fridays I go out for some drinks and is usually $30-50

Then I go out randomly during the week. Last night I spent $20 at a bar and $8 on a cigar. None of which I NEEDED. :ugh2:

This isn't counting weekends and going to the movies or car meets that take a full tank of gas either.

Hey Mike! :hello:

I'm very curious to know who you registered with to get the invite for the COTA event with Nismo Performance. I registered with Nissan when I purchased the car, but I haven't received anything regarding that event - there were guys posting that said they registered with Nissan about 2 weeks ago specifically to get this invite. I am :(

Chris (agrotech) and Nina said that it was offered primarily to Z clubs.

"It was extended to members of Official Z Clubs in Texas and Oklahoma. Tracie, you can still sign up, just gotta do it through either ZSport or Z Club of Texas, since I don't think Austin has a Chapter"

"Official Invitations haven't been sent out yet since Registration hasn't opened for this event but I suspect the public will get a chance to register to attend even if they don't extend a private invitation to you"

Footloose - IMO if planning on a gtr down the road no new to boost the Z. But if you were keeping (or keeping it longer say 5-6years) then I'd say ya boost it

I need them to be priced at $60-65 and trade in the Z as down payment so my payments stay the same and I'm not settling for a 2009-2011. So I probably have to wait 2-3 years
