Then I would definitely do it, but I would also arrange for the loan to stay at the same payment amount. Then you end up paying it down even quicker and you won't notice the change because the payments are the same.

I guess I was speaking more about home loans. Auto loans are so much shorter and don't have the same impact. Regardless, if you increase the loan, you better do some calculations to make sure of the numbers. It's not uncommon for your refi to wind up with almost identical total payment over the life of the loan. However, this isn't necessarily bad if you need some temporary relief in your payments, and are willing to accept a longer loan term in exchange.

uprev gives the tuner full access.. they just need to know how to use the osiris software.. it's really easy to use.. im just not comfortable tuning my own **** lol ...

if you lower your interest rate, even increasing the duration of the loan, by then making higher payments its worth it

FWIW, there aren't any credit unions in this region that I would feel comfortable using for a mortgage loan. Our mortgage broker is a family friend, and she is awesome. She also works for Colonial National Mortgage which is one of the largest firms and one of the few that is not publicly traded and does not bow to the corporate whims of Wall Street.

Not sure how upside down I am but payment is only $4 less without gap. Original interest rate was 8.2% as well.

whats the new interest rate?

So the techs were "leaving" when I got there and they couldn't put it on the lift and show me wtf they were on about.

The paper says nothing about the O2 sensor wire.

And to boot, they ran it through their car wash. :shakes head:

I am not too happy with that dealership (they were dumb and jerks when I was buying), but they are the closest one and I was in kind of a pinch no knowing what that code was.

As for the fuses, f it. They at least know how to do that part - I didn't want to get all hot and sweaty, even if it was my mistake to begin with. :bowrofl: Oh well. Maybe I'll put a call in with NNA, since I had one in back in December for this same dealership.

In the end I guess it is my problem, since I have the HFCs on there.

And, I feel a bit silly being the guy that took his Z to the dealership to fix a fuse.

The fuse was for the door button chime and OBD port.

The SES they won't fix, because I have HFCs installed. Gonna try the steel wool trick Chris told me about and see if that works.
