Ignore lists are for the weak. I do not say this lightly. If you do not like what someone says, represents, posts, etc., then just put that person on your ignore list. Then you won't have your delicate sensibilities offended by that terrible person and their awful points of view.

Ignore lists serve an additional purpose as well; you never have to rationally analyze your own belief system. If someone posts something that challenges your way of thinking or perhaps creates a bit of cognitive dissonance, then just put that person on your ignore list. Whew!!! Now you don't have to overtax your thinking by either examining your position on that troubling topic or even speak up for your self. Your paradigms remain intact. Good for you!!!

Last, just put an offensive person on your ignore list. Don't bother telling that person what they did to offend or challenge their viewpoint -- that takes thought and a little work. Don't trouble yourself.

I suspect politicians use ignore lists. I won't reveal my political positions by identifying the guilty Party (all Parties do it, but one much more so than others). I don't like what those people say, so let's not listen to them!!! Yay!!! Everything is right with my universe again. Wow -- that was a close call!!! IK almost had to think for a second. The Ignore list allowed me to dodge another bullet. Thanks ignore list!!! You saved me once again!!!

Ignore lists remind me somehow of a little kid who gets in a disagreement during play time. Instead of noodling the situation through to a resolution, the little guy just takes his ball and goes home.

Of course and as always, I have no opinion on this topic
.

 :iagree:

When I use Skype for video conferencing, I wear a dress shirt and tie (an nothing else except for maybe a loin cloth or speedo. My camera only sees from my chest up and I do this on principle.

I also sometime pull down this screen that I have as a background. On the screen is a tropical scene. It makes my clients thin I work from my vacation.

Pretty funny tho Barn!

Barney Fife was one of the all-time great characters. Don Knotts played him to perfection.

this! plus 10. if im not mistaken the show didn't include the character of barney fife at first, Knotts talked the people into creating the character because he felt the Andy Needed a sidekick, and by the looks of it.... we're all very glad he did! you cant have mayberry without Barney and his 1 bullet!

lol  :tiphat: lol im into brute strength, because god forbid if I am in a situation where Im the only one... and I need to defend myself. strength and big arms and just plain big size, will hopefully serve me well.

I was bullied in middle school and due to my medical condition, the school barred me from the gym and their other gym activities because of liability issues, so I bought my own stuff ( what you see in the video on facebook) and progressed, and eventually the bullying stopped because they saw how big I was getting so they scattered.

kept at it ever since. that was when I was 14 or so.

my arm size is 15.5-16 inches as of right now

LMBmikeZ 07-24-2013 06:52 PM

I get to pick up my Redline Oil and some filters friday, they had no 5w30 when I went in last week. They said they would order it, get it mid week and call when it's in. Which they just did a few mins ago.....

not sure what mines at right now. a few years ago I did some sort of body fat percentage test and it came back with 80-20 or 85-15 I forget, and they said the machine is off my 2 percent, but they didn't say whether that 2 percent was for or against me. lol

All you can do is maintain a level of physical activity and dieting and you'll eventually get to your goal. :tiphat: fitness is all about the long term results.... you may not see results right away, but in the long run you will

I just need to run more.. but I hate it so much

eating healthy here is a challenge.. a) because of the island food that is delicious, but mostly because b) the chow hall food isn't what I would call th ebest for you
mostly chicken salads, tuna and eggs..
cereal sometimes as well..

I started at 26%.. I am down to 22%

yes, I know, I am a fat *** :bowrofl:

can you switch up the cardio with other exercise instead of running? like biking or swimming both are great! I love swimming personally and it is great for your joints

ive heard that. my brother said their chow halls pretty much suck, he's in training to be a NAVY EOD specialist and is in florida right now, he just found out his duty station will be Norfolk Virginia which is what he wanted because its closer to us here. we call him Hagrid because he's big and muscular. not sure what his body fat percentage is but im guessing real low. lol. he actually set the dead lift record for the entire base (eglin airforce base where he is currently training) not too long ago. I think it was 530 pounds he dead lifted

you'll get there! its slow progress but progress regardless.

this is my younger brother.
