Finished, raced, crashed, repaired, raced, raced and crashed some more and eventually sold when I admitted to myself that after not visiting a track in two years, I should cash in on the bike, parts and trailer while I could. |

Brake duct #2 DONE! :happydance:
Now I just need to install the ducts and run the hoses. Due to my schedule, it probably won't happen for a few weeks, but it will get done; it's all down hill from here now! |

Mike, I'm leaning towards the Z1 kit exactly as you purchased. As several people are mentioned, it's a quality, proven kit. Easy install, no issues? |

http://www.z1motorsports.com/upload/...2001272012.pdf I think this is a good move on your part. In the long run, the savings are insignificant. |

We just returned from our Lake Tahoe drive. I am an idiot. Duh-- it's summer. Duh, there are a jillion people doing the same thing and there is no parking anywhere...
Oh well -- we were against traffic the whole time and got a nice drive in -- just no photos. 248 break-in miles added... |

I hope I can do it in less than 2 hours, but it doesn't matter either way. IIRC, the Nismo requires a few more installation steps than a base Z due to a Nismo Chassis Dampener. I changed my oil ~1000 miles ago (right after the Nismo Performance Academy), but I will take this opportunity to switch to Mobil 1 0W-40 (from the 5W-30). Also, I am going to start getting the larger oil filter (probably Purolator). |
