LMBmikeZ 07-12-2013 09:21 AM

If I have time this weekend I am going to clay & polish my car fallowed by some of chemical guys Ventura bond and two coats of their jet seal aerospace sealant :yum: makes the car look super wet for months afterwards

Pintsize725 07-12-2013 09:22 AM

Morning all. Can someone help me? Discount Tire says I have cupping going on on the front tires. They say it's alignment related. I called the company that did my last alignment and they say cupping is caused by shocks. What say you guys?

LMBmikeZ 07-12-2013 09:25 AM

I don't know about the cupping.

But would you be able to PM me some prices for gt mat? Enough to do full trunk and both doors? If you guys ship to Canada :ugh2:

We do ship to Canada, but it may be pricey. Let me work something up and I'll have it sent over in a few.

From what I've read it is suspension related, unless it's the tire itself. Some sites said low quality tires are less resistant to cupping/scalloping, other than that it would be the suspension.

Authentic Nismo parts

Received some authentic Nismo parts for the Juke. Faster shipping from the UK than most things I receive from the U.S. :ugh2:

Nice purchase BFG!! those pedals look :yum:

Do they have anything like this for the Z? I looked at some machined pedals a long time ago but never pulled the trigger because I couldn't decide what I wanted.

which tires do you run again? usually happens with low-end tires, improper psi, and finally alignment/suspesion related.

if you run non-asymetrical tires then more prone to cupping on our cars as the inner treads do not have the reinforcement needed to accomodate the negative camber.

Pretty sure she's running the PSS, so I don't think it's the crappy tire reasoning. Tracie, do you check your tire pressure or have you had the TPMS indicator light come on at all? And didn't you get an alignment recently? I'm not really familiar with the phenomenon, so I don't really know how the suspension comes into play.
