So far so good we just rolled over 700km, engine break-in is 2000km.

We love the interior, specifically the seats. A little too much plastic on the dash, but that is par for the course with cars these days I guess. The overall fit and finish is good. The doors feel and sound very solid when closing, better than the Z. The interior is also quiet. The engine is peppy but it won't win any races. The suspension is great, firm but not jarring.

The only thing I miss is auto headlights. The euro version has them, I don't know why they deleted the option for North America (on the Nismo version). The other thing to get used to is the fuel tank capacity. It's only 50 litres. I managed to empty it to the point where I was able to put 42 litres in during the fill up last night, just 4 km shy of 500 km on that tank.

Showed-up at Coffee and Cars this morning a 5:15 am to get a spot with the Z's. I think we had a total of 20 cars parked together. Lots of interesting cars today, probably 1,500+. That's just insane.

Passed by the office on the way home and spent three hours there. Got home and cleaned the bathrooms and the kitchen, dusted, and vacuumed. Mrs. gurney has been out of town and is coming home tomorrow. I want her to walk into a clean house.

Tweaked my Doran Nismo RC grille and put another coat of clear on my carbon fiber ducts. Hope to get some things installed next week towards that project.

After all of that, I showered, and headed over to a BBQ hosted by one of the Z family. Awesome food, and a great time.

I'm dead now lying on the couch watching Daytona.

Tomorrow is brunch with some Z friends that went to Austin for the Nismo Performance Academy. We still have the decals on our cars! Afterwards, is another car show.

As crappy as the past week was at work - including working all day on July 4, This weekend is making up for it.

Life is good

Good morning all you fine Z folks :hello: Sounds like most of you are having a good weekend so far (hope the in-law visit wasn't too bad Ms BC :tiphat:)

Company is still passed out on the couches downstairs. We had a guy's night with lots of beer, liquor, cigars and movies

Missed most the F1 race this morning, so I'll pick up the replay in an hour or so here :driving:

:iagree: on the seats. They are awesome. I specifically asked about these seats and the Z at the Nismo Performance Academy. They said it is highly likely that the 370Z Nismo will be getting some specially designed Recaro seats in a future edition. Hopefully, they will be an easy swap into an older base Z

I drove over a chunk of glass and put a nice gash in my right front tire. I am sporting a spare now. It is probably fixable, but I think it's new tire time.

Excellent. I'll be ordering at the end of the month. Sigma has a new lens coming out then. I've been looking forward to ordering it, may as well order both items at the same time.

hey luna. :hello: is that right? im not very familiar with camera language. i need to use a larger f-stop number to make the aperture smaller so i have more depth of field... is wat i meant. i was too close to the interior when i took that pict with watever f-stop i used. :ugh2:

and, i forgot i even had the circular polarizer on there. on a overcast day like to day, i usually remove it. guess i will re-take later. :ugh:
