got the new davey crosby and listened to it and the new live santana IV cd/dvd yesterday; crosby's is a bit sadly but expected not near his masterpiece "if only..." whilst the 1st of 2 cds is excellent....(haven't heard the 2nd yet)

sadly, once again this year we've lost another musical/poet giant. this time it's leonard cohen.

i'm older than most "hear"...butt, if'n any of youse love jeff buckley's "halleuah" (sp?)...or any (lesser) version...PLEASE,

listen to his brilliant masterpiece "new skin for the old ceremony" 1974 (before his voice deepened)...

reminders of my break-up 1st marriage and unto my new love...

my sadness will be compounded by my big three singer/songwriters: gordon lightfoot-jimmy webb-michael franks...

my heart always bleeds for these guys that i so identify with and who created and inspired my poetic soul...

So far, kd lang's cover of Hallelujah is my favorite. Cohen is going to be missed.
