Sick Thoughts -- this guy's stuff is pretty good. Raw. Very in the spirit of Jay R. and he's another dude clearly influenced by him and by the Oblivians.
Prepare to thrash around spastically -- 3, 2, 1, go! And the totally brilliant S.H.I.T. Is it an acronym? Are they being funny? No clue. Grindcore noize for angry mutants -- enjoy  Them doin' the Bad Brains here... Now pick up everything that got knocked over... what a mess... a wonderful fucking, happy Friday mess :D BTW: Bernie will be on Late Show tonight... watch it, get inspired. He's for the punks :tiphat:

Ghost -- live.
I dig all otherworldly monsters and nameless horrors (R.I.P. Oderus Ungerus...), so I dig Ghost. And by the way...

listened to gary clark jr.s' "sonny boy slim" and on first listen wasn't too impressed...and, after 2 mos. of waiting (due to probs) got my japanese "import" (not their pressing, sigh) of one of my fave hidden treasures: jo jo gunnes: the asylum recordings which features their debut, self-titled, great, early 70's rock (see also the great "fabulous rhinestones" for a wonderful one-two punch of ignored, superior examples of when music wasn't what its morphed into today)...

My co-worker. Who is listening to a sports show on the radio. (it's his radio) Which is on a loop. So it repeats every 3 hours. :shakes head: I'm about ready to go postal on him. Where's the duct tape. Because dayshift is going to find him taped to the ceiling. Retirement can't come soon enough.

I saw Ghost at the Summit Music Hall, Denver, CO on Saturday 10/17. It was a wicked show...as good as a live band can get. The sound and performance were so tight that they sounded better than on their albums. The nameless ghouls' outfits and masks were really striking. One of my favorite concerts ever. If I weren't spending a bunch of cash next week for the F1 race, I would book a flight to Vegas to see them on Halloween night!
