my DSLR's been collecting dust... :ugh:
|
We may be getting evacuated from our building. :eekdance:
Don't know why. There's a lot of rumors, since the Arias trial is happening right here and such, but most likely it's just a drill. |

Seems they'll do anything to prevent us from seeing daylight. No windows. Fire? Bomb threat? Zombies? Keep them inside with a constant message blaring, "Please prepare for evacuation." B!tch, I've been preparing for thirty minutes now! Then it turns off. :shakes head: |

We always have to wait until someone (I don't know who, probably a little office gnome) tells us whether we need to leave the building or go back to work. I think they're back there flipping a coin and nothing is ever really wrong. Hell, UPS rejected a package from us and instead of bringing it into our lobby and telling us, they threw it under a stairway. Someone called in a suspicious package and the bomb squad apparently showed up - never had a warning, no evacuation. I feel safe. |

I don't even have a DLSR. I just borrow them from friends and family members :icon17:
Last year I purchased my wife a nice Samsung point and shoot (<$200) with an excellent variety of custom programming capability including shutter speed and aperture. Of course, no interchangeability, but it's got a decent quality 24mm lens. It does fine for me any time the iPhone 4S camera falls short  |
For the photo-smart people...
What is it called when I want to black/white a photo and only have 1 color in it, red, blue, orange, etc?? |

At least it's above ground. It's better than an abandoned missile silo. :ugh2: |

I've done it several times in PS. Google "Selective Color in photoshop". It's a really simple process, but I don't have PS on my work machine (yet!) to tell you exactly where to go. I'm about beginner level with PS though. :shakes head: |

It's actually kind of fun.
I want to get some new, really vibrant pictures of my car and play with it in PS. |

Well I wanna try this out because the accent color on my car is Red, and the B/W thing would work well for me.

the ONLY reason why i bought the DSLR was i wanted to make my own lens distortion by using wide lens and give the image of my car appear a tad more artistic than the FLAT boring pict my droid took. also since im very limited with time, i wanted to have the option to use filters. but then, mr.alcheng HAD to tell me he liked my droid pict out of all the picts that i had up in my albums page some taken using my DSLR. ;) :icon17: |
And of course because I bought the software over a year ago, and right now PS is in the midst of moving everything to another program of theirs for storage, it won't let me complete the registration process for my account.

i just use the cheepo photoshop elements. works great for my purpose...
|
FYI T3 is still a good camera. T3i was marginal improvements + swivel screen.
