yah, that's wat im thinking too, mr.alcheng. from my past experience and current setting i have in my G, the front is setup much stiffer than the rear and my thought is that the front just needs a little bit of stiffening on the Z and it's all good. will see. :p

not necessarily. most bars in soft setting is still usually stiffer than stock.

im just going totally by the amount of stiffness i have on my G and using that experience in parallel on the Z. 35-36% stiffer than stock on the front is probably all the car needs. :)

I'm almost too young to remember this! It premiered in 1962.

Yes they do.

Hmm, cause I have the Whitelines myself, F/R, and have them set on the "OEM-like" setting. So I'd like to see your thoughts as well.

I heard there was some myth that having different stiffness' on F/R based on aftermarket Front and OEM rear, or vis versa, would cause very poor handling? (Driver mod excluded)

that is if you stiffen the rear suspension too much with either sway bar or the spring/coilover.

Remember the stiffer the rear the less of the traction it will have. Too soft, it will induce understeer.

Sway bar will decrease body-roll, however, it will still increase the stiffness of the suspension, mainly on the inertial-response before the sway starts compressing the suspension on the other side.

Some people just blindly stiffen everything and thought it is the way to go, and ends up lose all the traction front and back thus the car is like skating on the road.

Especially on a RWD car, the rear end is very sensitive, if you mod the rear end in a wrong way could induce over-steer on both turn-in and exit.

That's why, on street/DD, it's not a must to change the rear unless it's necessary.

The most important is you feel the handling of the car is 'balance'

Thank you for the knowledge. Thats the stuff I wanna learn.

Boo. I was checking the route last night to ZdayZ and to the MO event. Why can't the US be smaller? :o
