GaleForce 05-07-2013 11:32 AM

I cleaned the glass and QD'd the car. I'll gingerly (*seriously) drive it to work this afternoon.

*I need to replace my CMC.

:shakes head: these are the folks i meet at the social security office and DMV.

Mr.kenchan :hello:

I feel your pain too... most of the bimmers are driven by some narrowed minded tupid whose with a very narrow visual-field... :ugh2:

I am glad I sold the bimmer and switched to the Z 6 years ago...

and don't worry about the class thing... you are not the same class as those dumba$$.. not at all....

Is that a result of the turbo and supporting mods? Or is it just failing on you?

kenchan 05-07-2013 12:56 PM

mr.jar- sorry to hear about the slip light errors. can it be anything related to the abs sensors? do any suspension work recently?

Bad news:

My exhaust tips won't ever be flush with the bumper. They can send spacers to push the passenger-side out to make them even.

Now I'm going to be 10% ricer. :(

that sucks, haboob. :( do you have a speedshop nearby? i would have the shop cut both the pipes even out the lengths, then weld (or bolt on) new exhaust tips of your choice. :)

ask berk (or whoever made the lousy exhaust) to pay for the fees.

Dunno about ABS sensors. Is there a way to troubleshoot them? No to suspension work. Entirely stock aside from intakes and aesthetic mods.

Good idea. I like these tips, but I don't have an HKS exhaust :( If I get my custom exhaust ever, I'll consider using them

been reading up on that insurance thread in GD... makes no sense for 2 reasons:

1. topic is stupid
2. 80% of the folks are on my ignore list

not sure how to check abs, just wondering if you had over stretched the cable or not by accident. they are pretty robust though...

im not a fan of that afterburner tip. :ugh2: i put the guy in ignore list cause he keeps popping up with that dumbarse (to me) design of an exhaust tip. :icon14:

As far as I know, I haven't touched the cable, but I have been wrong before :icon17:

I like the afterburner. Very unique and not over the top. lol @ you and your iggy list - his thread is barely 20 posts long and half of them are mine :bowrofl:

Yeah, there's a local guy that my friends and I have used in the past.

I may run it by there and see what he thinks he can do to get it flush. Though, I don't think Berk would even consider paying the cost for it, since they have a "solution" to the issue. It's probably not worth the trouble, as he may only charge $100 or so for it, maybe less, who knows.

i would just do the 100 and call it a day.
