Not much going on here... Drove the Z to work yesterday, but lots of traffic due to the 500 made for slow-going on the way home.

I love long weekends like this, though. It's like you get two Saturdays! :tup:

I am trying very hard to manage my frustration level today.

My Z is at the body shop (16th Street Auto Body in Sac) awaiting time on the frame machine in order for them to complete the final assessment of the damage. These guys are top notch and have done some amazing work so I trust them 100 percent.

Waiting to learn the outcome is difficult and it looks like Tuesday or Wednesday is when they will have an answer for me. Arrggghhh. I am also torn because I do want my 40th back, but only if it's perfect when they are done. It was perfect before I got hit. I would also like a new midnight blue if that is the outcome. Either way, I just need to know.

If it is totaled, I am looking at a day's worth of work to replace all the parts back to stock. I am not willing to basically give my insurance company all my mods for pennies on the dollar. Colin's shop is a block from the body shop and we will drive it up there to swap all the parts out. My insurance guy is totally OK with this if it comes to it. The only mods that are trashed are my ZSpeed undershield and the driver side Stillen intake.

Anyway, thanks for letting me vent a bit.

On to brighter things -- we are having a get together for my son Taylor to celebrate his 23rd birthday today.

hello everybody ! .. happy saturday ..

I have not done anything nor driven my car anywhere.. hopefully i can drive it today or tomorrow and take my last pics of the island before i have to ship my car back to cali ! I just learned that they wont ship it to San Diego and i gotta pick it up at Los Angeles :( just waiting to get my orders and sendig her off!! ..

i added water to the G and Z's battery. was a tad lower than expected on the Z's battery, but it's fine.

i removed the dead weight on the Z's hatch gate only to find the screws i wanted to replace on the G (engine lower shroud/splash guard screws) are the same ones that came off my Z when i removed the weight. :icon17: lol also swapped the trunk lamp to LED, since i have some spares from doing the maplight.

also vac'ed the house, sold some stuff and made some cash. :D

no motoring in my G or Z today due to weather, but was pretty fun driving the fit around town to do a lot of errands today, so im good. hope it's dry tomorrow. :excited:

got my tools this pm as well. :D
