:icon17: I was thinking more like < $5k, which is still a hefty price considering I'm doing my buddy a favor and charging him really, really low rent. Not that normal rent would allow me to get that, but it would help.

I like the music in that video, JAR.

I've seen it a lot, but do we know for sure the windows are down? Either way, it's awesome.

The camera car is kind of a jerk too, for not letting that guy just fall behind the original jerk.

kenchan 05-21-2013 11:16 AM

tip of the day... (not really :icon17:)

not sure if you guys have loose a/c registers on your floor (house) that annoy you when you vac the house, the dial turns and the vent opening setting changes.

i found that if you screw in a self-tapping screw into one of the 4 pivot locations, you can actually lock the vent opening. (orange circle).

:woot:

kenchan 05-21-2013 11:23 AM

hickory dickory dock. the mouse went up the creek.

:icon17:

LMBmikeZ 05-21-2013 11:31 AM

But kenchan if you put a screw in the vent how would you close them if you want to block it off in the future?

JARblue 05-21-2013 11:33 AM

Hey Mike :hello: Meant to compliment you on your garage floor; it turned out really nice

I had to back out of the Carlisle show to prep for ZDayZ.

you can set it to the vent position you want, and lock it down. if you want to close it, just pull the unit out of the floor, loosen the screw, close it, then retorque it back down.

in the near future your toddler will play with the register (or walk over it) so it's a good way to lock it down. my kids dont touch it now, but my vac almost always messes up the setting when i vac the strip of carpeting between the register and the wall. :eekdance: but no more!
