Power button + home button for about 10s will hard reset it.

Or throwing it at the wall and driving to the Verizon store to get a new one under warranty will do the same thing.

I'd have gotten a purple Z if it was an option, that's for sure. It'd have to have a lot of flake like the F***in' Awesome one though.
