I think both of those can be fixed with some good paint correction.

you can probably polish some of that out using ScratchX... walmart, target, autoparts stores usually have it.

Amazon.com: Meguiar's Scratch X 2.0: Automotive

orange pad:

Griot's Garage 11241 3" Orange Polishing Pad - Set of 3 : Amazon.com : Automotive

3" pad holder..

Palm Grip 3" Pad Holder - Griot's Garage

or foam pad i use for small areas. :icon17: works great... (walmart or walgreens, local supermarket should have it)

Amazon.com: Kiwi Select Polish Applicators, 2 Each: Health & Personal Care

for the ding you will need to check with your local PDR tech. that looks repairable. :) ask your dealer, also check DentWizard.com: Dent Repair Services, Paintless Dent Removal for your local listing.

GL!

Good morning.

I appreciate everyone's comments on the tragedy that befell my Z yesterday. I am lazy this morning and am not going to quote everyone, just say thanks to all.

In terms of the pool on what I am going to do...

It looks totaled to me and a whole bunch of other knowledgeable folks who witnessed this happen yesterday. The frame too a hit and the whole front end is pushed over to the right side. Maybe it's fixable, probably not.

If fixable then I may be ok with it, but I do not think it'll ever be the same.

If not fixable, maybe a Honda Fit would be an option, but I may as well admit that I have given up my will to live. The base challenger is also an option, but I am not that big of a retard.

I will definitely get another 370 -- right away. I like the midnight blue with touring/sport and a manual. Then, I'd start the mod process all over with all the same mods except for intake (I'd go JWT or K&N Typhoon).

As far as what happened, we attended Hal's memorial yesterday. It was out in the country at a large property. There is a two lane road that the very wide driveway dumps onto. To the right it is wide open and I could see quite a way. To the left there was a hill not too far away. Kate was looking right and said it was clear and I looked left and it was clear. I began entering the road to turn left and this pickup truck all of a sudden was barreling down the road. I stopped and began to get it in reverse, but she had already locked up her brakes and BAM!!! POW??? KER-SPLAT!!!

There were 20 to 30 people who saw it and everyone told me (and the cop) that she was hauling-azz. It is only a 40 mph zone.

Anyway. There you go. Thanks for all your support. You all (except Mr. Kenchan) are awesome.

I don't like this.... I can't balieve this....

How could this happen to Mr.onzedge…??

I don't understand this and I already know I will have nightmare tonight....

Mr.onzedge... I am very sorry about this...

Exactly... someone asking about the diameter of tubing to fit on the caliper bleed screws did not deserve to have their thread turn into that train wreck :wtf2:

GaleForce 05-19-2013 07:50 PM

Took my car for a spin. The clutch master cylinder that I replaced the other night seems to have done the trick. I'm not sure why the very experienced tech from the Nissan specialty shop could't do it, or even bleed the system properly. :shakes head:

It's all good now. :happydance:

What breathing mods do you have JAR?

My only performance mod is intake. I am wondering if the filters are dirty enough to be affecting the AFR though. I would have expected it to be running a little lean after installing the intakes. Although I think the ECU learns the air flow and adjusts (or maybe only when reset?)?

Yep, would be on lean side but ecu compensates that. rather quickly..

It's been a full year since the mod, so no question there. But the tuner said the car was running extremely rich :icon14: I can't think of anything I've worked on directly or indirectly that would be causing that.
