Exactly! I prank called my wife a couple of times using FaceTime to surprise her with live video of various offensive body parts :bowrofl: But she picked up on that pretty quick, and doesn't answer my FaceTime calls any more unless it's legitimate sexy time cause one of us is out of town :icon17:

Looks like it's shaping up to be a nice day (hopefully).

I've got to get down to the body shop this afternoon and discuss the scheduling of the minor fixes that remain in the work they did last week. :)

What you got planned?

Nasty as hell here :ugh2: I am hoping the rain stops before my inspection this afternoon.

the lady told me i have to bring the car into the dealer for them to VERIFY my work before they can close the case and issue the reimbursement. i asked repetitively i already fixed the lock, car runs great as proof, i can send pictures, and i do not have plans to take the car to the dealer because i dont trust them, i dont trust their porters, i dont trust that they wont scratch the car, etc. etc.

she said, then tuff luck. kept repeating a canned messaged. no check coming.

That's BS :shakes head: I would have asked to speak with her supervisor after the repeated canned message. If you do end up going to the dealership, follow up with Nissan Corporate about how the trip to the dealer severely inconvenienced you and was completely unnecessary (and of course any BS the dealer tries to pull or sell you something).

This. They don't need to be touching anything to see that your steering lock is the correct revision and that it is working properly.

you see, that's wat im worried about. you dont open the hood to do the steering lock replacment and not sure if they even know wat a steering lock is. :ugh2:

and i hate having to have to explain to them what i did and how i got the part and so on so forth.

:icon17: im too tired now. honestly $500 is not worth my time and aggravation. the ONLY reason why i bought the lock in the first place is i didn't want to deal with the dealer. :shakes head:

i did ask but the lady said the person wasn't available (on another call). it appears nissan has a set protocol that cannot be broken as it can lead to a liability issue down the road. i had a feeling even if i had spoken to her boss, they would've just said the same thing.

down the road, in my line of work, i am sure to run into someone with power at nissan. at that time, i will make a joke out of it and have them give me browny points in other ways.

while 500 is a chunk of change, i bought the unit originally not thinking i would be reimbursed anyway, so it's okay. i have budget set aside for my cars and my Z is well within budget.

not like im going to be homeless next spring. :ugh2: :icon14: :wtf2:
btw, won another contract today at work. wtf...

Was just sayin', basically don't let them touch your car in any way that they don't need to.
