Oooh, track day! I'm jealous that my boss did that today. I did find a cheaper, local option so I might be treating myself for my bday.

Gets to me too. I don't mind waiting, I just need realistic expectations set at the onset. Don't tell me it's gonna be three days if its going to be five. My Z is my DD. :shakes head:

It'll be fine. It'll all work out, and I'll be pleased with the results, I'm sure. :)

So I decided to take of the front bumper randomly. I figured the wife is out of town until Friday, so I can drive her car. Plus the Z is nice and clean, and the weather is garbage outside.

I measured and cut out a piece of metal grill for my front bumper. I still haven't decided exactly how I'm going to do it, but I do know that I'm going to use the Dupli Color Shadow product in an attempt to create a black chrome effect.

Here's what I have to say to anyone who might doubt my OCDness:

I pulled the dirty microfiber pads that I used to clean the exhaust tips yesterday out of the trash and cleaned the front bumper reinforcement :shakes head:

Here's comparison half clean

And final result

I know... ridiculous :icon17: The inside of the bumper will get cleaned, too

Nice, I have a bunch of Adam's products but not that one. They do make good products that are easy to use. I am still finishing a meguiars metal polish that I have had for a year or two, it is giving me great results  the exhaust on my Z is spotless! I find if you maintain the tips and always make sure to clean them when cleaning the car, then it is easy every time. Letting it go can create a lot of future work :shakes head:
